Description: Our official launch party for The Positive Plate was November 11, 2011 at the Second Harvest Food Bank, inside the Orange County Great Park. A Taste of Fall featured all of the restaurants participating in our innovative program, each serving a small sustainable dish that best represents their restaurant, as well as a tray passed hors d’oeuvres to start the evening.
The Bruery supplied a selection of craft beer, while The Organic Cellar served wine, and delicious signature cocktails were created with Ocean Organic Vodka. Michael Castro from American Idol fame, along with the Common Kings and Jacob Littrell performed live throughout the evening.
The event was hugely successful, drawing a crowd of over over 200 foodies and sustainability advocates from throughout Orange County. Check out the video from Coast Magazine’s visit to A Taste of Fall.
