4mamaearth Fall 2014 Classes at Center for Living Peace

We love to see people of all ages, interests in backgrounds participating in 4mamaearth classes at Center for Living Peace in Southern California.

We are so honored to continue to be an affiliate of the non-profit community hub called Center for Living Peace (in Irvine, California), alongside the likes of Pacific Symphony, The Ecology Center and Girl Scouts. For the last few years, we have been proud to present all-age classes to inspire creativity and vision with classes about Healing Crystals, Percussion, Metal-Work, Afro-Cuban Dance and more! Thank you to all of our instructors like world-renowned dancer Kimberly Miguel Mullen, master percussionist Richard Marquez and the list goes on. Center for Living Peace has hosted His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Jane Goodall, Queen Noor of Jordan, Charlize Theron, Eboo Patel and more. We are in AMAZING company and look forward to continuing our partnership with Center for Living Peace as they continue their growth and commitment to making good happen on this planet.

Students can choose from an array of metals, stones and beads to create lasting works of art. Each person will have an opportunity to create rings, bracelets, earrings, bowls, key chains, pendants and much more.

This Fall 2014, we are excited to bring back one of our most popular classes, The Art of Metal Work with the always skillful and fun, Lily Baker.  From soldering to texturing and everything in between, this hands-on metal working adventure introduces students to the exciting world of metal art in an inspiring, fun-filled environment. Each person will have an opportunity to create rings, bracelets, earrings, bowls, key chains, pendants and much more. The class will be a lighthearted fusion of art education, science and design for artists of all ages and abilities. Everyone will take home lasting one-of-a kind works of art, an increased sense of accomplishment, as well as knowledge and memories that will last a lifetime.

In November, Holistic Health Counselor, dancer and art educator, Erika Elizondo will present a new class called My Healthy Happy Whole Kid. We’ll learn scientifically proven techniques to reprogram your kid’s cravings and pave the way for a lifelong healthy eater! Explore nutrient dense alternatives for your child’s favorite naughty foods and fun ways to navigate the supermarket to maximize your time and resources. We will also briefly discuss herbs and natural remedies for little ones. You’ll even make your own healing remedy to take home! We’ll learn ways to creatively overhaul your kid and your kitchen while raising the healthiest, happiest child possible.
