you and me and a cup of tea

The m.a.m.a. earth family has been working together since 2007 to create opportunities to build community and experience the joy of giving. In 2007, Jaime Kailani Bayot (who happens to be big sister to international popstar Bruno Mars) founded m.a.m.a. earth with the intention of making a change for the better. Whether m.a.m.a. earth is fundraising, supporting non-profit partners or working with schools  – our mission is to encourage others to get involved and make a change for the better, locally and globally.

As we  get into the New Year and (here in the US) enjoy the chill of winter, we think this is a good time to have a cup of tea! We’d like to encourage you to to participate in a fundraiser for our ongoing classes and programs. It’s as easy as 1-2-3! Here’s how it works:

  1. From February 1st until February 14th, spend $15 or more on lovely loose leaf teas and accessories from Moore Tea‘s online store
  2. You’ll get 10% off your purchase
  3. 15% of the sale will go back to m.a.m.a. earth!

Tea is one of the most consumed beverages across the world. Loose Tea leaves are easy to prepare and affordable. Studies have proven that Tea Antioxidants promote health benefits for our heart, metabolism and for many, drinking Tea brings about tranquility. When we drink tea instead of sugary, artificially sweetened beverages, we just feel better, longer, naturally. Tea is for everyone.

Markita Lamar, owner of Moore Tea

“I’m delighted to offer Premium Loose Tea and also have the opportunity to give back the earth’s benefits to our local and global communities by supporting international imports of hard-working tea farmers,” says Markita Lamar, Certified Tea Specialist. “By partnering with m.a.m.a. earth, we hope to reach many people, introducing some to new tastes, textures and aromas and for the rest who already drink tea and simply choose to live better.”

So click HERE, spend $15 or more and 15% of the sale will support m.a.m.a. earth’s after-school arts and writing program as well as next month’s interactive art event with the patients, families and staff at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.

Get inspired with our Pinterest board, you, me and a cup of tea.

We thank you!
