Brazil’s Project Count on Me started in March 2012 and since then we’ve been inspired by m.a.m.a. earth.  We use the power of art and music to make a local and global change. We’ve had monthly meetings in some Brazilian states including São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro – in order to spread love and encourage solidarity in people’s hearts.

In each meeting, we play games, do CD giveaways, sell custom T-shirts and each participant receives a m.a.m.a. earth bracelet.

The main intention of these meetings has been to collect donations in each state – things like school supplies, toys, clothes, blankets and non-perishable food.  The donations were taken to local Institutions in each state.

We are really proud and happy about what we’ve accomplished so far and are so excited to bring the love and intention of m.a.m.a. earth to Brazil.

We want to share this love and solidarity as we surpass barriers,  give hope to people in need, turn the sad eyes of a child into happiness and joy. m.a.m.a. earth Brazil is taking action to make a change for the better.

Amanda Gomes Oliveira is heading up the Brazil chapter of m.a.m.a. earth.  She is the creator of  “Lovers Bruno Mars”, the biggest fansite of Bruno Mars in Latin America. Encouraged by the mission of m.a.m.a Earth, created by Bruno Mars’ sister Jaime Kailani Bayot, Amanda and the team of started “Lovers Bruno Mars” in March of 2012. The campaign’s goal is to spread solidarity, change society for the better and promote love, music and community. “Many of us have a beautiful family and financial stability but there are a lot of teenagers and children that lack opportunity and basic needs. Therefore, our intention is to help others and promote the union among Bruno’s fans and give a new look to social projects.”
