The White Lotus is the perfect blend of nature and luxury.
White Lotus has recently been featured in the beautiful new Taschen book Great Yoga Retreats which highlights the finest Yoga retreat sites and centers, from Mexico to India.
F.A.Q.’s
Q: What kinds of people go to a retreat like this?
A: All kinds of people! Filmmakers, urban farmers, doctors, long shoreman, teachers, dancers, writers, mamas, papas, sons and daughters – you name it!
Q: Where will I sleep?
A: In a yurt. A yurt is a circular, dome shaped structure with wooden floors, skylights, windows, heat, electricity and Balinese daybeds with delicious linens. Each yurt has 3 beds. You can share a yurt with your friend(s) or we’ll pair you up with compatible roomies. You can also pay extra to have your own yurt or pay extra for one of the cabins on the White Lotus property. (If you’d like to camp, pay a lower cost and sleep on a comfy futon in an already pitched tent on a raised platform with blankets and drinking water.)
White Lotus is the perfect blend of luxury and nature!
Q: I don’t practice yoga – do I have to be in shape for the classes? Do I have to take the classes at all?
A: Several yoga classes with Andrea will be offered over the weekend and are completely optional. The classes are easygoing and perfect for every level of yoga experience. Classes include meditation, movement & relaxation, combined with eclectic music from internationally celebrated producer and DJ Carlos Nino, to create a special atmosphere. To make your experience exceptional, Kyona gives hands-on adjustments and bodywork during yoga classes. A favorite quote Andrea heard after one of her classes: “I feel like I just had two cocktails.” For those that enjoy a more vigorous practice, Kyona (who is YogaWorks certified) will offer a strong flow class during the weekend as well.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: We strive to make the weekend affordable for everyone and keep the price low. It’s $475 if you stay in a yurt. $400 if you camp. The price includes accommodations, all food (6 meals) and yoga classes.
Extras include massage ($95), facial ($75), private cabins range from $100-$250 extra. Email andrea@4mamaearth.org for more about the private cabins available.
Q: I want to go, how do I sign up?
A: Click here for PayPal and check options. Make a $75 deposit to save your space. You can pay in installments or in a lump sum. Whatever works best for you.
