The other day, we received an email from Amanda Gomes Oliveira in Brazil. She is the proud owner of the largest fan site of Bruno Mars in Latin America, LoversBrunoMars.com.br. To celebrate their 1 year anniversary of the website and blog, they just kicked off a campaign called Project Count on Me. They are organizing gatherings in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Project Count on Me aims to encourage fans to embrace the charitable causes endorsed by Bruno Mars and m.a.m.a. e a r t h.
Amanda writes, “I have been taught since childhood to be in solidarity with those in my country and community and do my best to lend a hand whenever I can help people! My brother and I organized a charity luau last year to raise basic food baskets for needy community in the interior of Brazil, Rio Grande do Norte. We know that the number of Hooligans around Brazil is giant and one of the goals of our project is to create a gathering for fans of Bruno to show love and solidarity and to spend a wonderful afternoon. We’ll also collect donations for Project Count On Me that will benefit m.a.m.a. e a r t h. as well as collecting toys, clothing and non-perishable food for orphanages in Brazil. We want to spread the love!”
We are so grateful for Amanda’s support and also the support of all of our brothers and sisters in Brazil!
