m.a.m.a. earth’s last benefit show raised money for Project Haiti. The project brings clean water and cholera education to rural areas, and urban agriculture to city slums. All donations are tax deductible and will go entirely to their work in Haiti. No contribution is too small – every single dollar helps! Really.
Clean Water
We bring filtration systems that we have distributed in Haiti for the last two years. The new systems will filter twice as much water per hour and will also help to more easily integrate each system into the community, and minimize theft of each communities system.
Urban Agriculture
We will build four aquaponics systems in Cité Soliel, Haiti’s largest and most dangerous slum. This will allow communities to grow their own food.
The funding needed will provide:
1. Materials for above projects
2. Guides and Translators
3. In-country transportation
4. Mules
5. Insurance
The Project Haiti team will travel to Haiti on the 30th. Your donations will make an immediate difference in the lives of so many people. These filtration systems provide clean water for the next 5 years!
