m.a.m.a. earth is a global organization using the power of art, music and nature to make a change for the better, locally and globally. The m.a.m.a. earth mission is to inspire others to give back in their own communities while raising awareness about issues that affect us all. m.a.m.a. earth partners with schools as well as local and global non-profit organizations to present enrichment classes & fundraising events. Global chapters have been launched in Brazil, Chile, the Philippines & Germany. By donating to m.a.m.a. earth or participating in our classes and events, you help us to ‘pay it forward’ & continue this work that affects so many across the globe.
So what are m.a.m.a. earth global chapters doing? They are finding projects that inspire them and in the process, inspiring us right back!
Recently, m.a.m.a.’s CHILE chapter decided to to sponsor a family in need. They chose to start with the Uribe-Prieto family from Santiago, Chile. This family is made up of 7 women, mothers and children. They’ve spent the last 2 years dealing with financial problems after they lost their primary financial support when the head of the household left. Somehow, this single mother has done the impossible by sustaining her daughters with limited resources. All but one of the daughters are too young to work and the eldest is also a single mom of a young baby. 4mamaearthCHILE found this to
be an admirable story about good people enduring difficult obstacles and are PROUD and HUMBLED to have collected about 3 months of nonperishable food for the family. 4mamaearthCHILE worked in partnership with Bruno Mars Street Team Chile and Selena Gomez Chile and invited many friends and fans to participate.
This group of young people in Chile are showing that it only takes a loving heart and a little bit of effort to do something good for someone in need. We send all of our love to the Uribe-Prieto family and wish them brighter days ahead.
