Manifest Justice with 4MAMAEARTH

MANIFEST:JUSTICE is a pop-up exhibition featuring art + events on themes of justice, human rights & power that is running from May 1st until Sun, May 10th. With more than 200 works of art from 150+ artists from all over the world in 20,000+ square feet, this show is powerful, moving, educational and impressive!

The show’s intention is to use art to “demand more empathy, more accountability, more economic opportunity, more compassion, more dignity, more power and more opportunity for all. We demand healthier communities, which means more from each other; more from our school systems and more from our judicial systems.

The time has come to illuminate our resilience and to take back our streets, our schools, our communities and our hope. Together we must lift our voices, assert our power, be resilient, identify solutions and work together to MANIFEST:JUSTICE. Together we will build a healthier and more just future.”

The 4mamaearth family was so pleased to have an opportunity to champion this exhibit by hosting an after-party following A Discussion on Resilience with Sybrina Fulton (mother of Trayvon Martin) and Dr. Robert Ross, moderated by actress Rosario Dawson along with a performance entitled, “POWER,” by Black Lives Matter.

This show is not to be missed! Click HERE to see photos from the night.

The MANIFEST:JUSTICE space is designed to welcome people from all walks of life.  The space is designed in such a manner that is accessible to all. The show is the brainchild of Yosi Sergant, who helped orchestrate two Manifest Hope art shows — one in Denver, one in Washington, D.C. — in support of Barack Obama’s presidential run. After taking a position as communications director at the Washington-based National Endowment for the Arts — and resigning last September — Sergant, 33, moved back to Los Angeles and felt compelled to address his opposition to Prop. 8 with the Manifest: Equality pop up exhibit. Word it, that next Yosi and his team plan to tackle the fast food industry. Learn more at www.manifestjustice.org>>
